QA Studio Requirements

QA Studio was developed using the Omnis Studio database program.

QA Studio is run on your company network. Routine back-ups of QA Studio can be performed with your company network back-up.

Enhancements and new features are frequently added to QA Studio, all of which can be easily downloaded and installed on your network at your convenience.

QA Studio will provide shared access to data from multiple workstations, simultaneously.

 

Operating Systems:

Windows: Pentium IV or later, Windows 2000, 2003, Windows XP, Windows Vista
Linux: Pentium IV or later, Redhat 9.2, SuSE 10 or Ubuntu 6.
Macintosh: Intel or PPC Procesor, Mac OS X

RAM Requirements:

Recommended: 2 GB or more

CPU Requirements:

Recommended: 3.00 GHz or Faster Processor

Hard Drive Requirements:

Minimum: 100 MB
Recommended: 250 MB

Networks Supported:

All common networks: TCP, IPX, Netbios, etc.
Slow WAN and Wireless Networks are not recommended because of performance issues.

Requirements:

Read/Write Access for all workstations to the directory containing the database files.
We recommend 250 MB of free space. The initial database is 30 MB in size and will grow as needed.

QA Studio will run on most networks and provide shared access to the data from multiple workstations simultaneously.

Novell Netware (All versions)

SAN or NAS Configurations should also work, although only limited testing has been performed.
