August 2008 New in the Raw Program-rBST free 1. Raw Suppliers moved from Support Lists to Supplier window. Note: Upon updating to the latest version of QA Studio, the Raw Supplier List will be automatically moved to a new Supplier window. The reason is to be able to set up the producer bar codes by each supplier. Below is a typical bar code setting corresponding to a specific supplier. You will need to re-enter the bar code settings for the producer bar codes according to each supplier, the current one in the Raw defaults will no longer be accessible. 2. Enter producer details into the Producer window. You have the option of importing the producer information including rBST free or not and the date of the rBST free affidavit. For importing; producer information should be set up as in the example below: Then save the file and change the extension to .txt. For example Producer.xls save as Producer.txt. Go to the Raw Program Menu > Producer window > Producer Processes > Choose Import rBST free Producers > when rBST free Producers window opens > Click Load Data > (if data appears correctly in the window) Click Import Data. Review Producer window to confirm data was imported accurately. 3. You can set up QA Studio to warn on producers that do not have a rBST free affidavit on file within QA Studio. Go to Raw Program Menu > Raw Defaults > rBST Free tab > Click "Alert rBST Free Producers Status." Then a warning box will pop up if a producer is entered in the Raw window that does not have the rBST free affidavit entered into QA Studio. To use this feature: It is very important that the Supplier window and the Producer window are set up properly and the producers are entered correctly.	Randolph Associates, Inc.
