Enhancement!

The Export Feature in all modules has been enhanced.

Benefits:

Data can be exported into Excel & more!

Generate your own reports. Reports look great!

For this example the Culture Export will be highlighted.

To set up the export feature in any QA Studio module > Go to the Specific Program Menu > Export Window.

1. Add a Template which can be used routinely. Click the Add icon located near the top left corner of the Export Template Window.

Please note: It is best to choose File Type: HTML. For File Name choose either file.xls or file.html (as the file extensions). Either the HTML file or the Excel file can be opened in Excel. The HTML file can be opened in IE (or other browser) as well. The example below represents a report that includes: column headers, a title and a border (which is recommended for the best appearance).

2. Add the QA Studio fields to export.

The first Add to click is on the far left. This open the Schedule Items Window. Next you can click on the "Description" header to alphabetically sort the description names to make it easier to find the QA Studio field you wish to export. Hold down the control key on your keyboard to select several different fields. When you have selected the fields to export then click the Add button on the bottom of the Schedule Items Window.

After adding the QA Studio fields to be exported, you can rearrange the order by dragging and dropping the fields within the small Export Fields Window. You can also delete or add new fields to the template as necessary.

3. Export the data.

In the Culture Product window > FIND the data you wish to Export > Culture Menu > Export Window > Highlight a Template > Click Export Data > Open the file where data was exported.

Reports generated by using the Export feature will not have the out of spec results highlighted as they are for the reports contained inside of QA Studio. If you would like a new report added to QA Studio please feel free to call or email QA Studio with your report request.

Excel Report

Open either file.xls or file.html in Excel.

HTML Report

Open file.html in either Excel or IE (or another browser).
